C IL | Grew continuous corn for most of a decade. Responded to market.
I think this is the 5th home run year for beans relative to corn and the third year we have gone back to planting (an increasing percentage) of beans. Responding to market.
Will probably continue that trend next year. If the in-crop dicamba is available at a reasonable price that will address the weed control concern and that will affect a lot of acres farther south.
I had forgotten how nice soil tilth was after soybeans after years of bouncing over corn root balls in the spring.
