Faunsdale, AL | You can try tightening it up in place. I did that successfully and it lasted for several hundred acres, but it eventually came loose again and I replaced both the wobble box and the arm at that time. I think the nut was stripped that last time.
Box has to come off to replace arm.......... take off crop divider point and drive belt and then start unbolting things. New wobble box does not come with lower bearing seal and base. There are several different styles of the base for older and newer heads, with counterweight or not etc. The wobble box itself is the same on the 200-900 series at least. | |
