True, but to be a voting member you need to be involved in agriculture. Still, I'd say they do as good of a job of representing farmers as any nationwide organization can.

If we rely on the lobbying power of individual farmers, agricultural businesses, etc., then we are doomed anyway. We'd better have some members of the public as Farm Bureau members.
