SE PA | I was privileged enough to go to Louisville to compete in Ag Mechanics in 2014 and then on a chapter trip in 2015. Was on stage then for Ag Mechanics, has to be my favorite memory of FFA I think, though there is many.We couldn't believe what we accomplished just by doing our best. Hopefully will be on the stage again for my American Degree too. Visited Corvette plant, Churchhill Downs, Indy Speedway, Fair Oaks Farms, a coal mine in Beckley WV, forget what else. The Ag Mechanics team stopped at a John Deere dealer in 2014 to look at the model of planter they were using in the competition and the dealer was generous enough to give us a copy of the manual. It felt more than a little weird this year not being behind the table at the meetings. | |
