| Farming allows me to see the beauty of His creation daily. Just yesterday I saw a beautiful sunrise, rabbits running, hawks soaring, deer feeding, wildflowers along the edge of the woods, a spectacular sunset and the moon rising full in the east. Each and every one of these things made me think of God and thank Him. Most jobs don't come with these kinds of views.
Farming also keeps me completely dependent on Him. I can do everything correctly. I can chose the right seed, till the soil under perfect conditions, fertilize heavily and control every weed. But if the rain stops and the hot winds of summer blow I will raise nothing.
My occupation is a big part of my faith and my faith is a big part of my occupation. To me, they go hand in hand.
