| Here in Southern Minn. The Pheasant has lost it habit so you can see why there number are down. Deer are all over 50 years ago if you saw one a year was it. How that DARM turkey that the DRN put in here 10 to 15 years ago has taken up living all over by the hundred's. As for jackrabbits 40 years ago there were here by the hundred's. Today maybe see one in five years. The cottontail there numbers are way down too. The Red Fox were fun to hunt before the snowmobile came to this part of the state. With in a few years they were gone. Too many people run them down at night. How for the coyote's they are here in good numbers. They have help too get the packet gophers out of the hay fields but how you have lots of big holes. You can Win. Over all wild live has had too change a lot with people moving into the living quarter's an the way farming has change. | |
