Maybe yes or no.

Most health departments don't want water softener regens in the sewage system at all anymore. They only want pristine, pure grey and black water in them so they last as long as they can. That's what the y say... They don't even want air conditioning condensate in the septic systems anymore too. If he has tile he can plumb it there, or just out a ways in his grass even.

Maybe he needs to change pumps to a different brand this time around? Maybe there is something eating away the impeller, but it seems sketchy to me also.
