| Our beans were also the best overall average we ever had. Corn will be very good, just started and possibly also the best ever.
But we had pretty darn good crops of both last year, too.... and look what happened last spring / summer!
One little hiccup and the price can take a big jump. We are only 6 months away from worrying about the 17 crop and at that point the big yields will be ancient history. SA has a crop to make down there right now.
Even if we have awesome yields that doesn't mean much in the grand scheme. Demand is high and one big year won't bring us to $2 and $6. | |
