What are the tax consequences? Is this correct?
Sell now, buy futures - 100% taxed in current year, defer gain/loss in futures
Basis contract, no cash now - 100% taxed next year
Basis contract, 80% cash now - 80% taxed this year, defer 20% plus/minus gain/loss
Yea or Ney?
