As others have pointed out it isn't exactly a shock that corn would tank in the midst of a big harvest. The crop is indeed huge but just how huge? Still not convinced it is 2014 huge but starting to wonder. Around here 2016 is going to be in a dead heat with 2014. If their is a bullish production surprise waiting in the curtains, October is the month the market typically starts to pick up on it and react. We have seen some inkling of that in late September and early October but not sure it has anything to do with poorer than expected yields. If the tone of today's trend continues tomorrow I think that casts some doubt on this. On the bull side of things we have demand. At this point that is really all we have to hang our hat on for a bull argument.
