The last two years I had Dekalb 37-07. Never sprayed for midge of aphids. Everything else had 2+ sprayings in 2015 and 1+ in 2016.

It yeilded almost as good, and had ZERO effect or evidence from the aphids. Don't know that i would call it resistant, but more so tolerant.

Most popular varieties in the area are DK 51-01, usually the top yielder, along with some DK 53-67 and some Terrals, and a few Pioneers that usually get stung with anthracnose and typically lower yields.

Dekalb 3707 is good milo, but has been hit as hard as any by the aphids.

That has not been my experience. Haven't sprayed for SCA for 3 years. Just army worm and head worm.
