NE Iowa | Bringing this to the top so you will see it. We're friends so can disagree with you. Here is a real life example with real bushels/price. Sold May $4.80 bushels with a $4.30 floor meaning if May traded below 4.30, balance of contract priced out there, through CGB, as a 'fancy dancy' contract. The kicker is if May traded through 4.80, then contract amount doubled up. May was trading around 4.50 when I signed this. Well, you know the rest of the story, corn puked, so balance of unpriced bu sold at 4.30. How many of your young counseled guys would settle for this today? Like I said before there is a time and place for these.
I've never sold a bushel to Cargill or Bunge, so can't speak to that. It sounds as if there are some disgruntled folks. Sometimes you're like a couple of politicians I know of, that you can't change their mind about things. lol | |
