I think you turn the key on, but not the motor. Put the hydrostat in 4th gear and push it forward. The wheel solenoid or whatever it's called that isnt magnetized either is bad or there is a break in connection. Milo was bad about pulling the wires from one wheel on a 4730. When there was no connection, I lost 4th gear.
