It looks good just about all over from the windshield, but what I'm amazed at is how well the kernels are filling. I have an 84 day variety that is somewhat middle of the road for yield and then a 93 day variety that only goes on my best ground.

Over the years I've taken many tests of kernel weight but this year blows the others out of the water. My early corn is around 20 moisture and when calculating ketnel weight after removing water weight I'm getting counts from 67-82 K per bushel. The average is 72.5 K so far. According to the kernel weights I shouldn't have a field under 190 bpa. Combine will tell the story but it looks like it'll be a fun harvest even at these prices.
