| Must've never had a cleaning lady...and that's OK by me.
You don't clean before the cleaning lady, but you pick up your crap that's all over so she can clean. Most cleaning ladies aren't there to pick up your dishes, clothes, etc. They are there to clean the surfaces, windows, sinks, toilets, etc and you can't do that properly with stuff all over.
We had a cleaning lady for about a year or two and it was amazing, but decided it wasn't worth the money and back we went to cleaning our own toilet...
If you have a wife and she's got a birthday or better yet, some event like a kid birthday coming up that all the family and friends will be there for do yourself a favor that will earn you all sorts of points, get a deep clean from a cleaning person/service. It won't be "cheap" but when she didn't have to do it and the house is cleaner than it's been in years it will be worth it. | |
