| http://lb.511ia.org/ialb/ says IA 14 and IA 188 are closed due to flooding at the moment but not 218. It also has links to Minnesota in the adjacent states tab that can check main roads in southern Minnesota which got as much rain as Iowa. Check it just before you leave in the morning to be sure nothing has changes. US 20 work east of Waterloo narrows it to one lane each way but traffic moves through it pretty good or did 10 days ago. Taking 20 west to I-35 adds a few miles but with higher speeds it makes up in time for the added miles. There is work on I-35 but its not a great traffic problem either.
