SW Ont | I also agree with you both. It's better to look back and realize you were lucky, than to go forward and bank on luck as part of your plan. Land bought 10 yrs ago has doubled and more in value. . Lucky? Yes. Was it simply luck or the result of a sound plan based on economics, effort, desire and hard work? Some of both but I place greater emphasis on the latter. I also agree that my son has a much better chance than a young guy starting out with nothing. Now that is luck I guess, but not what the OP asked about. | |
