Elizabethtown,KY | I used to keep one all the time, had one named Beau for 12 years that was the smartest one I ever had, it was unreal how many words he knew the meaning of. I had to have him put down in Aug of '07 because he just couldn't get up and down anymore.
I had one for 3 years after Beau, but he wanted to herd and chase stuff all the time and a motorcycle got him, haven't had one since.
As for your question, there is a breeder near Campbellsville, KY that raises a litter or 2/year, and I see another advertise about one/year.
