Leesport, PA | Got a new baby coming home in a few weeks. We have looked at some of the prepackaged video baby monitors and I am thinking there as to be a better system I could put together myself. Ideally I would like a camera that will work in the dark and pick up sound as well. Nursery is fairly small (12' x 12'?) and would be pointed at the crib. We have wireless internet in the house. It would work well if we could access the video feed via our Samsung smart phones and laptops.
Any thoughts on a camera and other components a basic novice could put together?
