West Cental Arkansas | I have been down the same road you are traveling now.
Had a torn rotator cuff and broken bicep muscle. Blue Cross made me go to physical therapy before I could have a MRI. Went to physical therapy for probably 8 weeks. One day I told the physical therapy Dr that my shoulder was getting no better and we needed to move on in a different direction to get the shoulder fixed. His exact words were I believe you are right. The physical therapy Dr would have had me coming to see him for a year had I not spoke up.
Got the MRI. Confirmed a torn rotator cuff and broken bicep muscle. Had surgery and all is good now.
Like someone mentioned above, Blue Cross wasted their money and my time by not allowing me to have the MRI to begin with. Oh well, just another example of how you can't fix stupid.
