Ron, mine does the same thing. You have to restart QB for it to update and add the automatic entries. I think this is somewhat unavoidable since if you were using QB at midnight and it added a bunch of auto entries several account balances would change, maybe in the middle of a transaction? I guess it could sense the date and open a pop-up window and ask if you wanted automatic entries entered. But as far as I have seen auto entries require you to close and reopen the program. Not all bad because closing will often trigger a needed backup to be made.
