roo - 8/30/2016 19:42 I noticed you can get a roller mill instead of a hammer mill. Says it takes a lot less horsepower. My question is can you get a fine enough grind with a roller mill? Just feeding fat hogs.
From what I was told by an Arts-Way engineer is that it takes less hp but the throughput is way less than a hammer mill if you are trying do a finely ground feed.
He said they were primarily aimed towards cattle guys trying to more or less "crack" the corn.
