The difference between the stock and commodity market is grain is actually a tangible product that gets produced and consumed.

The stock market really doesn't have to go any logical direction. As long as there are more people wanting to buy shares than sell shares it will go up.

Look to the retiring baby boomers to when the market will go down. How many young people have healthy retirement accounts being regularly funded to pick up the sales of the boomers when they want to cash out?
