This was an issue in 2015 but the 2016 software should have fixed it. Did the 16 update take? I'll do an edit to link a thread where I explained how to check. Would this happen to have been anywhere in the field where both lift switched would've been tripped, or downforce could've raised the planter out of the ground? Easy way to tell on the downforce is to check the applied downforce map right around the areas with the skip. The intermittent lifting of the planter out of the ground can be a tough one, especially if you are running deltaforce since it can change so fast. Had that happen this year and it literally took someone walking alongside the planter to catch it.

Also I wouldn't be very quick to blame trimble or digifarm at this point. There are enough ways that this could be a mechanical issue on the planter itself, or software issue in the 20/20.
