NE SD | Everything does seem pushed a bit. At this point that is THE primary concern I have about our crop. We don't have the same disease pressure you refer to either. Its just flat out finishing early. Typically not one of the ingredients for an excellent crop around here. I have noticed that some soybean fields are turning yellow without putting on a group of pods at the top. It may be an indeterminate variety thing but I always look for that this time of year to know if we have a shot at those extra few bushels/acre. Not seeing it much this year. Good crop but.... | |
