NEIN | You do realize that if everyone had tried to sell their production when corn was 4.30 that the market would never have been that high and never given many the chance to actually sell don't you? I always find it funny when others say we all should have sold at certain level, as if that selling would have had no effect on the price at that point in time. If the majority of people would have had huge sell orders for the the 4.30 price range very few if any would have gotten filled. The market goes up when no sells and down when they do. So there is no way we all could have protected our price at the same level or even close. Now from the individual standpoint, yes we should all have sold more. The money is made by those who have the capital and to separate pricing from merchandising their grain. | |
