IMO the reason they should cover it is $250-300 a bag seed it should be covered. You pay more for chems vs generic and they cover it. So why not?
If seed was priced where it SHOULD be with $3 corn, wouldn't be as much of an issue either. Their is so much fat in seed for companies its not even funny.
