The auto-steer isn't really needed. It just makes the job easier.
That's what the OP is trying to do for his employees, make their job easier.
I've been pushing for an upgrade to the "second" tandem.
A couple days ago, cousin said "I don't mind driving that truck." (He's the one that drives the combine.)
My reply was something to the effect that driving it was bad enough (underpowered, air tag dummy axle) but it gets old having to climb into the truck every time the hoist needs to be raised when dumping at the auger.
He says he's going to fix controls for the hoist at the back of the truck, hope it's better than the cable system (now disconnected) he put on several years ago that didn't work right and made the cab controls harder to use.
For the record, I'm not a partner and I really don't consider myself an employee.
Myaybe I need to help someone who is interested in making my "job" easier? |
