While these two recommendations make sense, I can tell you the JD 716a boxes we have did neither!
Reversing the apron chain could be a bit of a challenge. The JD wagons use a set of open gears to reverse, but you could also re-route a drive chain to do it.
If you take off the front section., you take off all the anchoring points for your drives.
Can I convert this Meyer silage wagon to rear unload?
