If you are asking what drill BIT, as in single, an annular cutter in a mag drill.

If you want to hand drill them you will need drill BITS, plural. Start with 1/4" and work your way up 1/8" or 1/4" at a time. Go slow, use oil, and be prepared to sharpen bits every hole. Any good quality HSS drill should be fine.
