A new front yoke or complete front half is small money compared to replacing a snapped off PTO stub. The oil spot in my gravel road was evident for a couple years after the PTO stub on a 4630 was broken off because an adaptor made a grain cart PTO bottom out when the tractor turned into a field. There is a reason why the PTO stub on a tractor is just barely long enough to slide the yoke on
Did you slide the drawbar out to the proper distance from end of shaft to hole after you put the adapter on ? |
