I talked to dealer again....there is only one part number for the shaft. The DTAC case says that the part number is the same but it has been updated. It specifically says the snap ring groove is deeper and and there is an updated snap ring and washer. Even had a tech measure the shafts tonight and the are the same. I'll see what dealer says tomorrow.
My understanding is 2012 and 2013s have bad shafts.
