Subject: JD 9500 Combine Front Wheel Spacing

Ossian, IN
Did the 9400/9500 combines have wheel spacers on the front wheels? Lets say in when talking about a 6 row corn head...a majority of them run over rows 1 & 6. We have a 90' 9500 with the 30.5 tires on it, and we run over 2 & 5, just barely rubbing the edge of 1 & 6.

We run stalk stompers and when we switched from a 7720 to the 9500, I thought we would need to move them over...but luckily dad didn't and they worked out great. Now we have switched to twin row corn, so I was able to find another set of stalk stompers.
