Subject: RE: Machine sheds and a bin blower question

Morris, IL
About the Y going to two bins. You deal with Hendrix at all? We deal with there branch up here in Leland. I asked about feeding a small bin from two directions, two systems, what i came up with was a cyclone with two openings cut into it. I asked and they said they have done it but didn't like doing it as just not easy job. As some point i plan to do it myself but haven't got to it yet. I was just going to cut another hole and make sure everything flows easily from both systems and should be good to go. Mine is a small feed bin used for fines i'd like to maybe be able to blow some wheat into or something like that where your doing small amount.

Not sure about a Y, when the 4" is pumping and it gets to Y where it goes to 5" it's going to slow down and i can see that causing problems. Sure 5" pumping into 4" would probably work as long as capacity stays below what 4" can do. Regardless of the valves, i think that is the problem isn't it?

I was really impressed with Ron Lukow's new building.
