I may be loosing it, but have been chopping TWH and/or Palmer for a few days, and could have sworn some had 2 different leaves on them. Some had red stems, some had green stems. Is it possible they could have cross pollinated somewhere? Edit- it doesn't matter, they are both resistant, just wondering if it's possible for them to cross breed? Yes hybridization is possible, but keep in mind Palmer and TWH are dioecious with phenotypical differences in the same area / field. |
