Subject: RE: Tractor Salvage

30 Miles Northwest of Columbus Ohio

Quite a few years(50+) a neighbors barn burned to the ground with a 4010 in it. My father in law opened up the transmission and saw the gears still had oil on them. He bought it for $ 200.00 and proceeded to replace the seals and such and the engine, injector pump, transmission, and main frame were all OK. He spent the winter rebuilding it. That tractor probability made more money than any one single tractor in the county. He was the local odds and ends guy for putting in drives, hauling stone, general grading and such.

Use your imagination and it is not in as bad a shape as you think. Maybe.
