Lincoln County. NC | I think I'd run it some with some lube on those chains, get them limbered up (assume it has been sitting) and make sure the chains are properly tensioned. If it still looks like that, advance the LH chain timing one spline on the drive sprocket or one tooth on the bevel gear set belowdecks. Find a happy medium. You could probably get by quite a while.
It won't like running like that and if you can't keep it from hitting, plan on replacing the LH chain, which is lower in your photo.
