I agree with the others to put it in a location independent from your grain setup.
I am always using mine for weighing loads other than grain such as terragators, grain carts, loads of straw, etc. that are oversize.
Make sure you put in a long and wide scale. Mine is 12'X70' for these purposes.
I do weigh every load in and the majority out of my grain system but you will use it more than you think.
