Subject: Boom height control on a 4630

South Georgia
We run a Deere 4630 sprayer. We struggle to keep the spray booms out of the cotton canopy when spraying over terraces or on otherwise uneven ground. I can’t drive slow enough to keep the booms out of the crop and maintain adequate boom pressure. I was considering adding an auto boom height controller. Word on the street is that they do not act fast enough to solve my problem. Anyone on here have experience with boom height control on a 4630?

Has anyone drilled out the orifices that slow the boom tilt? I am considering going that route next week to see if that will solve my problem.
