The good news is they are easy to find.
If your not familiar with 5.9's, another thing beside the dowel pin thing, is there is a certain number of bad castings out there. I don't remember what configurations they came in, but the "53" castings are known to crack the water jackets out. I was told if you see one for sale 'cheap' that is usually why.
