Southern MN | Any key differences between the 2012, 2013, and 2014 JD 608C Stalkmaster? They all seem to be priced about the same (locally at least) and I'm trying to understand if there is an advantage to going with one year over the other. Thanks.
Also, does anyone have feedback on stalk stompers for these heads? Do they work as intended? Tried a 608C chopping head out last year on 100 acres without stompers and felt the stalks were terribly hard on the combine/tractor/cart tires. Maybe I'm just too picky and need someone to set the record straight for me. | |
