I tried doing that to one field that will go to beans next year. Its still too wet. I can scratch the top away and make a mud ball still. I had thick enough wheat and lots of residue, that still covering the ground.
I found 12 ozs D, 32 Cornerstone, qt per 100 SuperB kills em too.
