Don't think it's an adjustment. Somewhere there's a little bit of power bleeding onto the forward/reverse wire and since the auto reverse is on it causes it to reverse. Could be a real bugger to find. Would never cause a problem without auto reverse.
I agree.
The symptoms don't match what would happen if it was just switches out of adjustment at the reverser box.
