I tipped him $2.00. The hotel also charges $8.50 per day for valet services. Did I tip enough? If it was the same guy (parking and bag service), I would have flipped him a $5. You can ask the front desk, what the $8.50 covers (if it goes to the valet attendants or hotel bottom line). Then you'll know if the valet needs tipping. Even when the hotels/resorts we stay at, have the mandatory valet charge, I still tip the guys $2 bucks or so. They seem to pay more attention to you next time you pull up and when you come down . . . . . . |
