Subject: 2000 GMC 6.0 gasser keeps shutting off

West Central Indiana
The truck has 108,000 miles and 2 years ago I pulled in the driveway and it completely died, couldn't restart it. Ended up being a bad fuel pump. Had a new GM fuel pump put in the truck at a local garage. Been running perfectly fine till about 2 months ago. I was pulling an ammonia wagon down the road and the truck shut off at 20 MPH. I put it in neutral and she fired right up and down the road we went. Now it's getting to where it will shut off 3 times in a 5 mile drive. Then may run for 50 miles without a glitch. Just to completely confuse me sometimes it won't completely die, but go to an extremely low idle, so low you think it shuts off and when you hit the key I grind the starter. When the truck is good and hot it won't restart right away. After about 30 seconds it will restart, and starts quickly. Seems like its electrical to me but wondered if any of you had similar trouble. I took it to the mechanic about a month ago and there weren't any codes according to his computer. TIA.
