Texas | We bought a 16 GMC duramax last fall and liked it so much we traded our other truck in for another 16 GMC duramax a few months ago. Really like them and no problems yet out of either one. The DEF fill location (under the hood) is not the easiest to get to but you only have to fill it every 5000 miles or so.
One is a dually and the other is a 3/4 ton. Both 4x4 crew cabs. The dually gets around 15-16 mpg empty with a flatbed on it and the 3/4 ton gets around 19-20 mpg.
The dually is a Denali and loaded and the 3/4 ton was the base model. I am impressed with all the features the 3/4 ton came with such as electric locking tailgate, backup camera, power windows and seats, etc.
The trucks we traded in on both of these were 2015 fords and I like these GMC's a lot better. The ride a lot smoother on the highway. | |
