I run a 30' pull type made by Macdon. I use it to cut grain, however, we had a wet year and laid down about 600 acres of CRP grass once. Things I remember; I replaced all the teeth and it helped a lot in terms of ground speed and clean cut. Its cheap to run. It doesnt cut very low. In very thick grass that has a "wirey" stem it can plug the teeth if you go to quick.
