NW Iowa
Your sawsall will reduce it down to size fairly quickly. Run the saw slow, the blade doesn't get blue hot and go dull as quickly. You have the choice of running it screaming fast and replacing blades every few inches or running it slow and steady without stopping. There is no need to push the blade hard. Have a few spare blades handy. The oil dry idea sounds like a good one. Opening it up with the sawsall will let the smell out of it though. I have an old fuel barrel I cut apart and I store it in the barn for usable steel. Whenever I need a piece of steel that thickness I go to the barn with the cordless sawsall and whack off a piece. The cats all go in hiding from the noise. LOL
