Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | Andy578 - 7/1/2016 13:07 if it was 1/4 mile up the road how the hell did it get there? i would think it'd take a very very long time for something that large to move around. also wondering where the threshing machine ended up. awesome find tho, the most i every get is arrow heads and maybe the odd chunk of steel my grandfather lost decades ago. actually kinda funny i can find decades old mufflers and such yet can't find the damn plow coulter i lost only a year ago
My first guess is they got the tractor out, then the owner of the piece at the time offered to bury it in a gulley to help stop the erosion? That happens alot in this neck of the woods, theres tons of old cars and farm equipment thrown into gulleys |
