Looks like you have a pretty large pipe for a 30 acre pivot. I would guess you could irrigate 30 sandy acres with a 150 gallon well. Your pipe size looks bigger than I have for 300 gallon wells.
Why did someone abandon it? Seems like it must have gone bad. No?
Your picture has some wires exposed? Be sure to get everything safe.
